Little achievers mark big leap at ECE moving up day

There are always many milestones one achieves in life, and on April 6, the Early Childhood Education (ECE) students, with their parents and guardians, gathered at the Seed Dome to celebrate their Recognition and Moving Up Ceremony, commemorating their advancement to formal elementary education.

Following the morning devotion that opened the program, student Jillian Elaina M. La Madrid delivered the opening remarks, after which, Dorothy Celestine B. Santos, the student with the highest honors, gave the testimonial message.

The ceremony continued with the presentation and declaration of completers led by the school principal, Mrs. Cynthia C. Genon, as proud parents and teachers looked on. The young learners were formally recognized for their achievements, marking a significant step forward in their academic journey.

The awarding of ribbons and medals followed, where the pupils were acknowledged for their hard work and efforts throughout the school year. One by one, they stepped forward to receive their awards, greeted with applause from proud parents and teachers alike.

Sheila Robles, aunt of Joaquin Domingo, shared that she attended the event to support her nephew, who received the “Most Improved” award, feeling “overwhelmed by very proud.”

Kinder pupils also had a special presentation, delighting the audience with their song number before concluding with the closing remarks by Shairah Dawn R. Ligan.
