JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) honors government discounts such as the ESC (Education Service Contracting) and SHS (Senior High School) voucher through the PEAC (Private Education Assistance Committee), aiding students in their private education.
The ESC program is provided by the E-GASTPE (Expanded Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education) or Republic Act 8545, which supports incoming junior high school enrollees and senior high school students and teachers through the SHS VP (Senior High School Voucher Program).
ESC Program
“ESC is applicable for junior high school. Start ng Grade 7, tuloy-tuloy na yun hanggang Grade 10,” said school registrar Ms. Julie Baltazar, explaining that the voucher’s validity lasts from grade 7 until grade 10 once granted.
The ESC voucher is available to Filipino students around 12-18 years old transitioning to Grade 7; whether a transferee from a public or private school or a grade 6 student in JCA from the previous academic year, and has not been a recipient of the ESC in the previous school years.
The given form includes the following requirements:
- ESC Application Form
- ESC Contract with signature
- PSA Certified Birth Certificate
- Photocopy of Grade 6 Report Card
- Recent (2) 2×2 photo of ESC applicant
- Proof of Income (Latest ITR for the previous year) or Certificate of Tax Exemption/Municipal Certification of Unemployment of parent/legal guardian.
Once the requirements are submitted, the enrollee automatically becomes an ESC grantee and will continue to be one until the student ends high school.
SHS Voucher
Meanwhile, the SHS voucher is offered to Grade 11 transferees from public schools, allowing them to directly enroll without the need to pay for the school’s tuition fee.
For transferees from private schools, this voucher is applicable as long as the student has an existing ESC voucher from their former school.
To be able to enroll in JCA as a continuing student, a step-by-step process should be followed.
The enrollment starts off by filling out the online registration form and later on advancing to the payment of the tuition fee. A convenient online payment is also offered by the school via Metrobank, where the proof of payment is to be sent to jca.finance@jcsgo.edu.ph.
Over-the-counter registration is also available through the school’s registrar’s office to obtain the registration form before going to the accounting office on the other side of the room to pay for the tuition fee.
Before taking the required ID picture and claiming books and notebooks, enrollees are advised to wait for the registrar’s confirmation of enrollment.
The business center, located beside the accounting office, is also available for those who want to purchase new sets of school uniforms.
