Grade School (GS) learners JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) shined brightly during the Poetry Recital Competition last Monday, September 23, showcasing their verbal fluency and emerging talent.

Grade 1 students recited the “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer, while pupils from the Grade 3 level presented “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” by William Wordsworth.

Naomi Micah Victoria Azul from the Grade 2 level, recited “All Things Bright and Beautiful” by Cecil Francis Alexander along with her fellow students.

One of the young stars, Azul, stated that despite feeling nervous, practicing with her parents helped her connect with the poem, enabling a masterful delivery of ‘All Things Bright and Beautiful’ with clarity and confidence during the recital.

This year’s English month activities, including the recital, highlighted the potential of these young stars, focusing on building their confidence and communication skills, ensuring that JCA continues to nurture future talents.
