
Young poets take spotlight in JHS Poetry Writing Contest

As part of the English Month Celebration, the Junior High School (JHS) Department organized a Poetry Writing Contest with the theme “Communication and Leadership” on Monday, September 16.
In an hour, participants were challenged to showcase their poetry writing skills, adhering to a specific number of lines per stanza and a chosen rhyming scheme.
The program proper was held in rooms Majestic for Grades 7-8 and Mighty for Grades 9-10, facilitated by Ms. Dahlia Nazareno and Ms. Chrishelle Estanislao, English teachers from the JHS department.
The said competition was concluded successfully, with 17 entries from the Grade 7-8 category and 29 submissions from Grade 9-10.
