Thrills, Cheers, and Victories: ECE, GS welcomes Sportsfest ’25

Grade School (GS) department and ECE (Early Childhood Education) pupils had their sportsfest at Marikina Sports Center on February 18.

In the opening part of the sportsfest, grade school pupils had their yell competition, where Kiena B. Rutas shares her experience, “the best moment or the highlight of the event was when we presented our yell [in front of] all the JCAians.”

The Grade School Department also commenced with Basketball Boys for the Grade 6 level where the Humble Battlers emerged victorious, 6-1, against Pure Valiants where Danemarck Pancho secured the Most Valuable Player title for scoring six points.

Tug of war (Girls and Boys), Obstacle Course, Hula Hoop, Basketball (Mens), Coin Pass, and Volleyball (Girls and Boys) were some of the following games for Grades 1-6, as the sportsfest concluded in the Grade School department.

The ECE department also commenced its various mini and fun activities, such as Wheel Relay, Long Jump, Throwing, Fastest Transferring of the Ring, Tug of War, Sack Race, Fastest transferring of t-shirt, Hula Hoop Relay, Hit the Bat Relay, and Jack en Poy Relay.

Hayette Malazarte, guardian of Athena Grace Janiva of Kinder AM shared with Ignite, “Masaya po ako na nakikita ko pong nag-enjoy ang baby namin. Nagkaroon po siya ng mas maraming bonding kasama ang kanyang mga kaibigan at kaklase, pati na rin ang mababait na teachers.”

“Nagkaroon din kami ng bonding together, and all the games are so nice at mababait sobra ung staff at mga teachers po. Thankful po ako kasi natapos ang event nang walang nangyaring aberya.”
