The Senior High School Department brought back its retreat—three years after switching to distance learning at the CGM Jabez Campsite on April 27 and 28.

With the theme, “Towards Championing Oneself,” the retreat included discussions, team-building activities, and fellowship.

The event was spearheaded by SHS Coordinator Tricia Artienda and Shiela Padilla, school guidance counselor.

“It’s purpose is to have a time of fellowship with one another and contemplate one’s purpose in life, taking a break from the busy happenings and focus on experiencing nature, friendship, spirituality, and personal growth,” said Artienda.

“We hope it helped them have that renewed feeling and gave them the time to realize things they needed to let go and only think about the important things that matter now and will help them strive with the next chapter of their lives.”
