Celebrating the achievements and milestones of the graduating class of 2025, JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) held its 8th Commencement Exercise on April 16 at the Seed Dome.

The program began with an opening remarks from Charlice Villadolid, an honor student, who acknowledged the hard work of both students and mentors throughout the academic year.

This was followed by Avril Yuri Naranja, also with honors, who introduced the guest speaker, Ms. Mekayla Patrice Abad, an alumna from Batch 2020.

In her inspirational message, Ms. Abad encouraged the graduates to embrace challenges, value their roots, and lead purposefully.

To express gratitude, the school presented Ms. Abad with a Certificate of Appreciation for her presence and inspirational words.

The spotlight then turned to Janelle De Ocampo, who graduated with high honors, as she delivered the Commencement Address.

“As we turn the page to the next chapter of our lives, the best things in life may take a little longer to come, but look at how worth it they are at the end. Congratulations Batch 2025, reach for the stars, and to God be all the Glory!”

A touching tribute followed as graduates honored their parents with a symbolic “Best Parent Award” garlands alongside a touching Audio-Visual Presentation (AVP) featuring students expressing gratitude to their biggest supporters.

Adding vibrancy and energy to the event was the performance of the batch song “Overcomer,” where graduates sang and danced, celebrating their collective journey and resilience.

Afterward, Markin Asuncion, a Gold Loyalty Awardee, led the Pledge of Loyalty, followed by the JCA Alumni Pledge led by Ms. Aaliyah Mangindra, the Alumni Associate OIC President.

Honoring the institution that molded them into who they are today, the graduates stood proudly to sing the JCA Graduation Hymn — a moment of unity, gratitude, and deep respect for the school that became their second home.

To conclude the event, Trixy Umpad, a with honor student, delivered her closing remarks, marking the end of a beautiful chapter and the beginning of new adventures.
