SHS 7th Intramurals: We Triumph Together

After a week-long battle, the JCA 7th Senior High Intramurals concluded its event through an awarding ceremony, recognizing the winners of each game at the JCSGO Seed Dome, last March 3.

Students who placed first in their event earned a medal and certificate, while students who excelled in the major ball games won trophies.

The Yellow Kings were crowned the overall champion of the 7th JCA Senior High School Intramurals.

Meanwhile, JCA SHS also held its 2023 edition of the Mr. and Ms. Intramurals.

Marc James Ofiana of the Kings and Allen Caido from the Blue Judges were crowned 2023 Mr. and Ms. Intramurals.

Venice Bacolot of the Red Prophets and Dannon Garing of the Green Saints were the first runner-ups, while Vince Castro of the Prophets and Alexa Lim of Saints were dubbed as second runner-ups.

Curt Escobar from the Judges and Bea Bencio from the Kings won for the third runner-up spot.

Prior to the main event, the school also hosted its Yell Competition, where each team showcased their creativity, grit, and warrior-like spirit through chants.

The Kings were declared the winners of the competition, followed by the Judges, the Saints, and the Prophets.

The ceremony concluded with an audiovisual presentation that summarized the best moments from the whole event, evoking and highlighting the theme of this year’s intramurals, “We Triumph Together.
