NEWSTART embraces trust in God in February service

Students, teachers, and staff gathered in faith and fellowship for the first chapel service of February, at the school’s Seed Dome, uniting to worship, reflect, and celebrate achievements, as the month opened with the NEWSTART theme “Trust in God”.

The chapel service, led by Pastor Joshua, delivered an inspiring message centered on “Using Music to Honor God,” emphasizing how music can be a powerful form of worship and a way for individuals to express their faith, gratitude, and devotion to God.

“Students should share their talents with humility and use them to glorify God, not themselves,” said Maria Alexa Bangal, Grade 7 student.

Her statement echoed that students are encouraged to share and use their talents with humility, focusing on glorifying God through their abilities rather than seeking recognition or praise for themselves.

Following the chapel service, the program continued with a Filipino radio broadcast performance, which showcased students’ creativity and performance skills, adding an engaging and entertaining element to the event.

“It felt in a way that it was a good way to preserve the Word of God so it could bring life to the people. Allowing its lessons and morals to be passed on and on, so that it could not only live out, but also empower, inspire, and change lives,” said Gaile Villavicencio, one of the winners of the Bible Month activities.

Her statement highlights the meaningful impact of faith-based activities in nurturing both personal growth and a sense of community among students.
