JHS students shine in declamation performances
By: Reigne Concepcion
Junior High School (JHS) Department students passionately expressed their emotions in a Declamation Contest last Friday, September 20 at the Audio-Visual Room.
In an event filled with creativity and expressive delivery, contestants from Grades 7-8 presented “Juvenile Delinquent,” while students from Grades 9-10 performed “Do I Still Have Any Reason to Live?”
Students used props and expressive body language to bring depth and emotion to their performances.
“Since I’m a person na hindi marunong i-broadcast ang kaniyang feelings, dito sa mga speeches na ito most the time I get to release all my emotions” shared Erin Mabbagu, a Grade 9 participant.
The contest was judged based on clarity, stage presence, and emotional delivery, with each student bringing their unique style on the stage.
