JCA’s U-13, U-18 team take home dub in SISAC opener

JCSGO Christian Academy’s U13 and U18 basketball teams went home victorious in their opening matches of the Socorro Inter School Athletic Competition (SISAC) on May 17.

The U13 squad took down Cubao Elementary School at the Socorro Barangay Hall after a hard-fought 33-32 win at the Socorro Barangay Hall.

Coached by the school’s varsity players, Jahred Jamandron and Jackson Angolluan, Vince Espina carried the team with 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Prince Gudelano tallied 10 points and five blocks.

Meanwhile, the U18 bracket escaped a gritty match against Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School (CGEAHS), 58-56.

Ralph Rizano reigned as the player of the game with 19 markers, while Elijah Bundoc added 14 points.
