In celebration of Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Month, JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) held a Photo Essay Contest on July 10 at the Computer Lab.

With students from the Junior High School (JHS) Department, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement and creativity as each student was prepared to showcase their photography and essay writing skills.

The theme, “Food and Nutrition Security, Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, served as a powerful reminder to JCAians that not only is nutrition a need, but also a right to all.

Participants captured images and wrote captions centered on the theme. They also shared their perspectives, each showcasing their photography skills with strong messages about nutritional awareness.

“From the pictures I’ve captured, I wanted to convey the message that there are different consequences of eating junk foods. Instead of consuming unhealthy stuff, we should be wise in balancing our meals and limiting ourselves to processed food,” Chloe Elkrishia Jimenez from 8-Amazing stated.

The contest concluded by reminding participants of the importance of food nutrition, the value of awareness, and responsibilities while highlighting the students’ skills in photography and creative writing.
