In light of the Bible Month celebration, the Senior High School (SHS) department of JCA conducted a culminating activity last January 31.

The event enunciated winners of competitions held during the month. Namely Match-a-Verse, Poster-Slogan contest, Pop-up Book contest, Bible Quiz Bee, and the Bible Shirt.

First place winners of contests were Trixy Umpad, Samantha Moles, and Samuelle Velayo from 11-Shalom, along with 12-Jireh’s Scion Velayo for the Match-a-Verse; Mary Ann Marcellana achieved the top spot for the Poster Slogan; Marc Jagto takes the top for the Bible Verse; the Grade-11 Shalom won the Pop-up Book contest; and in the Bible Quiz, both the Velayo’s achieved first place;

The event also declared the winners of class achievements during the month of January, with Grade 11 Shalom standing out as winners in both Creation Care Advocates and the Lead Class categories, Grade 12 Jireh was recognized for excellence in English Communication, while the Grade 11 Shiloh received acclaim for Healthy Monday.
