JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) Senior High School (SHS) Department held its annual college fair, providing grade 12 students with essential information on higher education opportunities on Wednesday, January 8.
Spearheaded by Ms. Sheila Trance Padilla, JCA Guidance Counselor, the fair, comprising of 26 colleges and universities, put up booths to showcase their college programs, admissions processes, and scholarship offers.
Each participating institution distributed various promotional items, including souvenirs, freebies, flyers, and brochures, to help students better understand their options.
In addition to the booths, representatives were available to speak, offering personalized advice on application procedures, campus life, and financial aid.
“The college fair went well, and personally, I think that the college fair was really helpful, and having these types of events can be a big help for students, like me, who are still lost on what university or what course to pursue in college. Colleges vary in many industries, insights from these schools gave me an idea about the things I take interest in,” Clyve Owen Cabaddu from Grade 12-Elohim said.
