JCA PTA: Para ‘To sa Atin
Last July 8, 2019, JCA held its first Parent – Teacher Association (PTA) Meeting. It was the first time that JCA had such a meeting with the parents since the school was established in 1997.
The PTA Meeting, held at the JCA HS AVR, was attended by JCA parents, and guardians from the ECE Department to the Junior High School Department, as well as selected JCA faculty and staff.
During this meeting, Mrs. Cynthia Genon, the school principal stressed two important roles of the PTA – support and SUPPORT. Mrs. Genon stated that the PTA will be established in order to better support the children, and the school. The parents agreed to these roles believing that “support” will be the foundation of their child’s learning experiences.
The election of PTA officers also took place during the meeting. Nominations for the position of PTA President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and PIO were opened. Grade level coordinators were also assigned to help with information dissemination to the JCA parents, and guardians.
