JCAians turn practice into confidence at PMC Recital

For PMC teachers, the recital served as a culmination of their students’ hard work and progress, as JCAians performed at the Seed Dome on March 23–24.

The event featured Grade School and Junior High School students showcasing their musical talents through praise and worship performances learned throughout the school year.
With each performance, students demonstrated not only their developing technical skills but also their confidence in expressing themselves through music.
In an interview, PMC guitar teacher Sir Andinelo Ventura shared, “One of the things I truly love about teaching is witnessing the growth of my students—from learning the basics to achieving advanced guitar skills.”
“It brings me so much joy to see how far they’ve come. The chords they once struggled with are now something they can confidently play and expand upon.” he added.
Ventura also emphasized the deeper value of music education, saying, “As a teacher, it is deeply fulfilling to share my knowledge in music and help them develop not only their skills, but also their ability to express themselves through playing.”
He reminded students about the challenges of learning music, noting that there would be moments when their patience would be tested, especially with difficult pieces, but they should always remember that progress comes through perseverance and dedication.
