
JCA Men’s Volleyball Journey: Sealing Itam Invitationals ’23 Farewell with a Triumph

JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) Men’s Volleyball team bid adieu to the Itam Invitationals 2024 on a high note, clinching a thrilling victory against the Sacred Heart Of Jesus Catholic School (SHJCS), 25-18, 26-24, at the FEU Institute of Technology Gymnasium last February 24, 2024.
In a display of dominance, the JCA team asserted their authority early in the match, securing a commanding 4-0 run in the first set. Spearheaded by standout players Ralph Arcamo and Kent Traboco, who contributed 13 points each, the team showcased their prowess with precision serves and lightning-fast spikes.
Key contributions from Vince Castro and John Marcus Cortez further bolstered their performance, allowing the JCA squad to secure the first set with a score of 25-18.
As the match progressed, the nail-biting second set remained neck and neck, with neither side willing to concede defeat. Aikee Azares’ final attack, closed the set with a play that shifted the momentum in favor of JCA, ultimately sealing the victory with a score of 26-24.
With this final win, the JCA Men’s Volleyball team concluded their Itam Invitationals journey with a standing of 2-2. As they bid their farewells to the competition, the blue and white squad ends their ride with a remarkable finale.
