The JCSGO Christian Academy Men’s Basketball Team opened its doors for aspiring students with potential through tryouts at JCSGO Seed Dome, last July 28.

This year’s tryouts aim to fill in the vacant positions of the varsity team, expecting to have two squads.

“As we go along the years dito sa JCA, kailangan natin i-build yung farm team. So expect this year, I’ll be having Team A, which will be participating in main events like iTAMS Invitational, and hopefully, if God permits, yung sa NYBL (National Youth Basketball League) din,” said Coach Gerard Alejo.

The coaches divided the students from different schools and some of the varsity players into groups so they could play a match, giving them the chance to put their skills to the test.

Alejo mentioned that the tryouts will be a long process, checking and analyzing if the candidates have the talent, skill, and discipline to obey the rules and regulations of the school.
