JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) conducted an orientation from June 24-27 at the Central Hall to introduce Grade School to Senior High School students to the departments under Student Development Services (SDS).
The goal was to help students become familiar with important services, such as the clinic, discipline office, and guidance center.
The program began with a prayer led by Head Guidance Counselor Ms. Sheila Padilla, followed by an icebreaker activity.
Discipline Prefect, Ms. Lourdes Borromeo, discussed the school’s behavioral expectations and disciplinary guidelines.
Afterward, Ms. Padilla reminded students that they are not alone and are encouraged to talk about their feelings and seek help when needed.
Meanwhile, the health services available were presented by Ms. Dhanna Abubo, the School Nurse.
The orientation also covered proper grooming, etiquette, and other student support programs provided by the school.
“My experience was great; I had fun, learned about JCA’s rules, and got to meet the new students,” said Grade 8 student John Dale S. Legaspi.
The event concluded with a reminder that SDS is always open to assist students with their concerns.
