To celebrate the Christmas season and highlight their singing talents, the JCA Chorale participated in STI’s first-ever Christmas Carol Competition.
JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) Chorale group joined the melody at “Namamasko Po! A Christmas Carol Competition” for the first time at Systems Technology Institute (STI) College, Cubao, on December 6.
Several high schools participated in the competition, including Camp General Emilio Aguinaldo High School, San Jose National High School, STI Global City, and San Juan High School.
“When I stood there on stage, I was extremely nervous. However, seeing the JCAians cheering us from afar made me feel at ease,” said Alyssa Alpino, one of the Chorale members, during her experience in the contest.
Ms. Gianinne Angelee Castor, the Choir Director, shared their journey in the competition, “The overall experience was fun, of course, there were bumps along the way but all their sacrifices, sweat and tears were worth it after seeing them give their best performance as a choir.”
