The National Nutrition Council (NNC) leads the whole nation in the celebration of Nutrition month this July 2019.  The said activity aims to disseminate nutrition-related message to all students through the focal theme: ‘Kumain ng Wasto at Maging Aktibo, Push Natin to!’

The celebration aims to promote :

1. Consumption of healthy food and drinks’
2. Eating and choosing healthy choices regularly,
3. Making healthy eating habit and lifestyle, and
4. Being active and exercising daily.

In lieu of this, the JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) along with the Music, Arts, Physical Education and Health (MAPEH) Club highlighted the importance of good nutrition, healthy diet and lifestyle through a culminating activity this 31st day of July, 2019, as per DepEd Memorandum No.082, s. 2019.

The undertaking started with an opening program that emphasized the challenges given by the school principal Ms. Cynthia C. Genon. The short message merely focused on the importance of eating healthy foods.

The MAPEH club also spearheaded a variety of activities including a quiz on nutrition, poster making, cookfest plating contest, zumba and a beauty pageant, Volleyball and Basketball, Jingle Making Contest as well as individual events like Slogan Writing, Poster Making, Essay Writing Contest as part of the Nutrition Month Celebration 2019. Students in different levels actively participated in different activities and contest during this celebration.
