After an early slump in Game 1, the Yellow Kings roared back into the match led by Jarmaine to pull off a merciless 3-0 win over the Green Saints to win the Mobile Legends Title during JCSGO Christian Academy’s first-ever Online Intramurals last Friday.
Jam Sebastian Gallo (Jarmaine) was named as the Finals’ MVP after showcasing his mere firepower that proved to be too much for the Saints to handle. His most impressive performance was in Game 2 where he used Lancelot and finished with 13 kills, no deaths, and two assists.
“Noong pinanood naming ang mga laban ng Green talagang kinabahan kami kaya nag-practice kami para manalo,” said the Grade 12 student Gallo.
“Communication at teamwork yun talaga ang nagdala sa amin,” he added.
The Kings had a slow start in Game 1 of the Finals after Ethan San Gabriel’s Yu Zhong (MRCS) had a productive 4-0-2 start that gave the Saints an 8-2 midway to the game.
But, Jarmaine didn’t fail to carry his team after a slow 0-2 start after getting back with three straight kills and a solid triple kill in the 11th minute that erased Team Green’s lead.
From thereon, the Kings took control of the match having an 11 thousand Gold Gap that gave them the edge to finish Game 1 in favor of their side.
The Kings went aggressive in Game 2 after invading the Saints’ Red Buff that resulted to Jarmaine drawing first blood during the first minute of action.
Jarmaine quickly took off in early stages of the second game as he was ruling the jungle that gave him the gold advantage where he swooshed into the scoreboard scoring all of the first 10 kills of Team Yellow.
The same incident happened as Jarmaine took no time to slay Monsai (Simmone Delos Reyes) to create a gap early in the match.
Jarmaine quickly showed who the boss is in his most awaited face off against Monsai where he hammered Monsai’s Brody to a 1-4-1 start.
The Kings finished Game 3 the fastest after widening the Gold Gap when they took all three turtles and slain the Lord to end the game within 10 minutes.
