As one of the most anticipated parts of the school year, JCA’s Grade School Sports Day finally arrived on February 18 with the theme, “United by Faith, Strong by Purpose,” with students showing their strengths and abilities while enjoying the competitive spirit.

After a series of games, students learned to show respect, teamwork, and perseverance.

“Beyond winning or losing, they discovered the importance of cooperation, communication, and trust,” said one of the event organizers, Ms. Sherlyn Serrano.

“Teamwork. They practiced discipline and sportsmanship, learning to celebrate victory with humility and accept defeat with grace. The Intramurals highlighted the value of unity, effort, respect, and the friendships built along the way.”

Students played several games, ranging from tug-of-war to basketball. As each team plays and competes, their section continues to cheer them on with different encouraging words and shouts.
