GS, JHS JCAians recognized in Bible Month awarding, aspiring student leaders introduced

JCAians from the Grade School (GS) and Junior High School (JHS) Department were awarded for triumphantly showcasing their grounded faith in God and His Word, alongside the introduction of aspiring student government leaders at the Seed Dome on February 12.

Contests for this year’s Bible Month centered around the theme “God’s Word: The Source of HOPE (Harmony, Obedience, Peace, Empowerment),” took place throughout January, providing students with the chance to deepen their understanding of the Gospel and strengthen their faith in God.

The first-place winners of the individual Scripture Seekers competition were announced, with GS students Paula Ysabelle Espanol, Julia Ysabelle Magallanes, Weiland Mabaggu, Joaquin YƱigo Magallanes, Enoch Corpuz, and Grant El Racca, followed by JHS representatives Robin Jane Santuile, Iaones Phil Ligaray, Jaiyana Ysabelle Ansay, and Arwend Beatrix Antido.

Shortly after, recognition was given to the GS Bible Storytelling winners: Richelle Ann Cassandra Dela Cruz, Frank Lucas Velasco, and Ivan Louie Calalo, representing Grades 1 to 3, respectively.

Group contest awards were also presented, with the GS and JHS sections 5-Perseverance, 6-Purity, 7-Majestic, 8-Awesome, 9-Great, and 10-Victorious winning the championship in the Battle of the Verses.

Several JHS learners received recognition for their Bible Verse Banner entries, including Romaine Marion Iresare & Louise Eliana Canon, Iaones Phil Ligaray & John Luis Oblenda, Kirsten Joelle Balilo & Ghellina Raine Plana, Jerianne Akiecia Panganiban & Sarah Michelle Perez, Jonah Lorraine Borromeo & Jihanna Rose Javier, Nathania Raphaelisa Avila & Princess Mary Anne Balanga, Aquia Yurikoh Gomez & Keisha Radene Mack, Ryiand Djorge Centeno, Marianne Ruth Romarate, Martina Jumeirah Reyes & Francine Dominique Serrano, and Naomi Hernandez & Monique Salvador.

The final awards were given to 1-Kindness, 1-Patience, 2-Goodness, 3-Righteousness, 4-Meekness, 5-Diligent, 6-Purity, and 9-Mighty for achieving top scores in the Scripture Shirt Competition.

The day also saw the introduction of aspiring candidates for the Supreme Student Government (SSG) and Student Council (SC) for the school year 2025-2026.
