In a display of discovery and mystery, Grade 11 students of JCA Senior High School (SHS) celebrated the annual acquaintance party at the Central Hall on February 13.
Themed “Clues to Forever: A Quest for True Love,” the event was spearheaded by the SHS faculty with School Principal Mrs. Cynthia Genon and began with her opening remarks, followed by a series of engaging activities and games.
Students enjoyed fun-filled games such as ‘Who am I?’ ‘Unmask the Liar,’ ‘Detective Scene Dash,’ and ‘Counting in Order,’ which created a lively atmosphere followed by a devotional message from school chaplain Pastor Joshua Sebastian, who encouraged students to love and appreciate.
The event also witnessed a special segment focused on commitment to true love led by Mrs. Cyrel Tajanlangit-Gemeniano, where students reflected on their commitments to God by writing in mini notebooks.
Concluded with a recognition of the following awardees: Zyrus Borre won the Lost Detective award, Gerald Angelo Bailon took home the Quick Thinker award, King Daryll Ringor was named Drama King, and Franchezka Tan earned the Drama Queen award.
Marguelle Asuncion and Von Kenneth Tegerero received the Best Dress Award for male and female, while special awards were presented to Johanna Ang, Chloe Basco, Keith Cardona, and Joseph Yasuhara.
