To familiarize Grade 10 students with Senior High School strands, JCA SHS held its annual Strands Fair, yesterday.

The event started with a program organized by the SHS Department, welcoming Grade 10 JCAian students.

The department shared both its scholarship and voucher program, which entitles JCAians to a discounted tuition fee.

They highlighted various activities offered, such as sports fests, acquaintance parties, monthly activities, and field trips.

JCA SHS also offers a variety of clubs and extra-curricular activities, including the Student Council, varsity, Ignite, Incite, Sociopreneurs, SHS Voices, ICT Elites and Multimedia, and Lighthouse Repertory.

Grade 10 JCAians were introduced to the clubs organized by SHS teachers. They are open to joining if they are interested and want to use and develop their unique skills.

The event ended with breakout sessions as Grade 10 learners toured several classrooms prepared and decorated by SHS students to welcome them to their respective strands.

They designed presentations and organized activities for students to take part in and learn more about each strand so they could have an idea and determine which strand they would pursue in the future
