JCSGO Christian Academy’s (JCA) Senior High School (SHS) students celebrated the new school year with performances, games, and awards during a vibrant acquaintance party on August 1 at the Central Hall.

With the theme “Clothed in White, Washed in Grace, and Denim-Nitely Chosen!”, the event welcomed students with activities promoting unity, friendship, and faith-centered fellowship.

The event was hosted by Daniel Anthony Doria from Grade 12 Jireh and Cristellevine Alleyne Reytas from 11 Shiloh.

Opening performances featured the Praise Team, followed by an opening prayer by Kirsten Yulo and remarks from Grade 12 Jireh President Thaddeus Libunao.

Game one, “Crossword Connection,” was led by game masters Wendy Barit and Arvan Trafiero, while the second game, “Zip-Zap-Zop,” was facilitated by Prinzy Mark Vizaya and Kurt Bidaure

Ashleigh Villanueva and Alexander Alfaro then hosted the third game, “Paper Dance,” before Assistant Principal for Christian Formation and Discipline Mr. Amado Sabangan Jr. gave an inspirational message.

The final game, “Praise and Pair,” was spearheaded by Angelito Alfaro and Jhon Paul Fabiaña, followed by a praise jam and open dance floor for students.

Kirsten Yulo, a student from 11-Shiloh, shared her joy in being part of the celebration. “The event was fun, and I’m happy I got to do what I love—which is singing praises to God—while being with my newfound friends.”

Students were also recognized for their presence and conduct, with Best Dressed titles going to Kent Daniel Matubis and Elise Tarrosa, and Best Behaviour awarded to Girls Table 5 and Boys Table 22.
