Fitness to Finest: JCA sparks JHS Intramurals ’25

In commemoration of the JCA’s 28th anniversary, the Junior High School (JHS) Department commenced the first day of their Intramural, yesterday, February 17 with the theme, “Believe, Strive, and Triumph: Fitness to Finest,” the event will run until February 21.

The program was inaugurated at the Seed Dome with an opening prayer led by Neo Bautista from the Green Prodigies, followed by the students’ oath-taking of sportsmanship, pledging each competitor to play on their highest discipline and sportsmanship, led by Emerence Balingit, also form the Green Prodigies.

The seasonal Mr. and Ms. JHS Intramurals 2025 of each team were then introduced with their unique attires and stances, capturing the crowd’s cheers and interest.

The paired contestants were Enzo Baysa and Martina Reyes from the Violet Vanguards; Luke Jagto and Summer Bautista from the Orange Embers; Jian Ofrecio and Haven Flores from the Blue Seraphim; Raphael Andrade and Naomi Hernandez from the Yellow Chevaliers; and Chester Buena and Hailey Velasco from the Green Prodigies: Hugh Collin Baul and Abcd Mabaggu, Red Conquerors.

The coronation graced the stage later in the event, with Mr. Baysa and Ms. Reyes from Violet Vanguards, claiming the title of Mr. and Ms. JHS Intramurals 2025.

Before sending off the teams, Francine Serrano and Cayniel Bautista led the warm-up exercise to prepare the students for the activities and to formally end the ceremony, Jonah Borromeo delivered the closing prayer to wish the competitors a fun and thrilling event.
