Exodus once again proved its musical dominance as the band secured its fourth consecutive championship in the Musikristo: Battle of the Bands 2026, on February 4 at the Seed Dome.

Despite welcoming new members promoted from Junior High, Exodus delivered a polished and powerful performance that blended scripture and music, impressing both the audience and the judges.

With the team leader Justice Sebastian, their consistency and growth over the years cemented their place as one of the most formidable worship bands in JCA history.

“You’re showing great leadership anak Justice Sebastian! FOUR-peat champion for JCA MusiKRISTO Battle of the Bands. You are amazing, you’ll always be our ‘greatest drummer in the world,’” shared Pastor Joshua Sebastian in his Facebook post.

Members Justice Sebastian and Joaquin Aberin further solidified the group’s dominance after earning Best Drummer and Best Electric Guitarist, respectively.

Lion of Judah emerged as champion, while Anazosis of Worship placed second in SHS, followed by Team ABC in third. In the Junior High School division, Cherubim secured second place with all bands displaying commendable creativity and dedication.

The competition was judged by Sir Samuel Soliven, Ms. Jacqueline P. Baloro, and Mr. Jojo D. Diamse, who also recognized outstanding individual performers, including Princess Jaime De Leon (Best Pianist), Jayden Tuñacao (Best Vocalist), and Rohan Binamira (Best Bassist).

Organized by the Supreme Student Government (SSG) and Supreme Student Council (SSC), the event celebrated music as a form of worship.

While judging for winners, aspiring student-leaders for the school year 2026-2027 introduced themselves.

SSC partylists such as EDIFY led by Princess Thea Idulan and 444 PARTY led by Sophia Delos Trinos, including the SSG partylist GENREV, led by Summer Bautista—closing the event in celebration of music in the form of worship.
