The 29th Founding Anniversary of the JCA was marked not by extravagance but by heartfelt expression, as students gathered to celebrate under the theme “Empowered through Christ” on February 16, 2026, at the Seed Dome.

From Early Childhood Education to Senior High School, each grade level took part in a series of performances that reflected how strength, confidence, and identity are shaped through faith, all anchored in the verse Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Biblical narratives and creative interpretations unfolded on stage, with students portraying the story of Moses alongside Egyptians and Israelites, while others danced as warriors, soldiers, and cheerleaders, symbolizing courage, discipline, and unity drawn from God’s promises.

Modern themes were also woven into the celebration, as performances featuring hip-hop routines and dream career concepts highlighted how students view their aspirations as something empowered and guided by Christ rather than achieved alone.

Adding to the sense of community, teachers and staff surprised the audience with a short dance number, reinforcing the message that faith and service unite every member of the school, regardless of role or age.

In her message, Principal Cynthia Genon emphasized that the school’s simple celebrations are intentional, noting that every activity is centered on “bringing all graces and adoration unto God,” a reminder that the anniversary was ultimately a collective act of worship and gratitude rather than mere performance.
