The Senior High School students have reached the crescendo of their 13-year academic performance.

With the theme “K-12 graduates: Molded through a resilient education foundation,” JCSGO Christian Academy held its 6th Recognition Day and Graduation ceremony for senior high school students at the Seed Dome yesterday.

JCA alumna and guest speaker Maria Blanca Clea Blanco gave her inspiring speech highlighting her points through the first four letters of the alphabet: Acknowledge, Be humble, Content for Deeper Things, and Don’t forget to commit your plans to God.

“I encourage all the graduates, and everyone present today, if you want to achieve something great in life, the answer is yes. You are able because God is able,” she stated.

School principal Mrs. Cynthia Genon, Bishop Victoria Sebastian, and the SHS academic head, Ms. Tricia Artienda, presided over the presentation of graduates and the conferring of diplomas.

SHS awardees received medals and certificates for their exceptional performance during the academic year in both academic and extracurricular.

Clark Matthew Bandril, the batch valedictorian, presented his motivational address in which he emphasized that the dance of destiny is a symphony of growth, resilience, and unwavering determination.

“So let us all embrace the dance of destiny, with all its twists and turns, as we gracefully move through life’s stages. Let us trust in our own rhythm and dance to the beat of our hearts,” he said.

“As we move forward, let us carry the lessons learned, the passions ignited, and the belief in our own potential. May each of us continue to carve our unique paths, leaving distinctive marks on the world and inspiring others to dance to the beat of their hearts. Together, we can create a future filled with extraordinary beauty, boundless possibilities, and the unwavering belief that greatness is within reach,” Clark added.

He also pointed out that students shouldn’t be afraid to embrace change, like how he gradually gathered his courage to take every little tread of faith that soon led him to reach significant achievements.

The Batch 2023 song and JCA song were performed and sung by the graduates one last time, which was followed by an audio-visual presentation that presented memories of the past year.
