As part of JCSGO Christian Academy’s Foundation week, the Early Childhood Education (ECE) commenced its 2024 Intramurals last February 23.

With the theme, “Playing with Purpose: Putting God First in Sports,” according to ECE Academic Head Lisa Reyes, their ultimate goal was to have time with each other and for the children to step out of their comfort zone.

“Ang pinaka-goal talaga namin sa aming sportsfest, of course, to have time with each other,” Ms. Reyes said.

“Pero this time [it] is to have a special sportsfest for the kids para ma-release din nila ‘yung kanilang sarili … magkaroon ng chance na ilabas nila ‘yung kanilang sarili through games, play, and time– also bonding with the parents na kasama nila during our sportsfest,” she added.

In an interview with Ms. Reyes regarding ECE’s Intramurals, she was thankful to both the pupils and the parents for the success of the department’s sports fest.

“Thank you [children] for your effort[s], sana nag-enjoy rin kayo. Thank you for the parents, also, sa kanilang preparation, lalo na sa cheering. And also ‘yung time nila to come [at JCA] to support their kids sa sportsfest,” she told.

“This is [a] successful sports fest kasi nandyan ang mga parents who helped us. And also the Lord na nag-enjoy po lahat,” Ms. Reyes added.

Ms. Reyes also mentioned they are fulfilled and thankful for the success of the ECE Intramurals.
