In a display of intelligence, Grade 12 ABM students of the Senior High School department held an event composing a seminar and a real estate marketing plan presentation at the Audio-Visual Room on Tuesday, November 19.

With a central theme of “Business Development in the 21st Century,” the event was divided into two sessions where the students both witnessed and exhibited skills and intelligence in business.

The first session began with a seminar led by Mr. Carlito Gemeniano, a Leasing Officer and Executive Assistant, highlighting an overview of business industries and key factors to consider for successful business development.

To kick off the second session, the three groups from the Grade 12 ABM students displayed their real estate mock models, followed by the presentation and explanation of their marketing plan and strategies, which was judged by the guest panelists Ms. Judy Serrano, an ICCT BSIT, Isupport Worldwide, Assistant Account Manager, together with Mr. Gemeniano.

Mrs. Cyrel Gemeniano, subject adviser, explained the event’s purpose, stating “I want you [ABM Students] to apply all the lessons we learned in economics including analyzing market demands for businesses and how to create strategic marketing plan out of these analyses.”

Chloe De Dios, one of the ABM students, expressed her experience throughout the preparations and actual event, “Our preparation for the event wasn’t that bad; I guess it’s because it’s our first time organizing and managing an event. But the event wasn’t that bad. I’ve learned a lot, especially when it comes to business development,” she said.
