
Angolluan, Rizano powers JCA Basketball in ITAMS Final 16

JCA Men’s Basketball team indisputably triumphed over the Grant Cecilia Integrated School (GCIS) with 106-79 in their Final 16 opener last March 23 at FEU Institute of Technology.
Opening basket came from Jackson Angolluan as he scored three consecutive two-pointers for the squad in white. JCA secured an 8-0 run as they advanced just before the timeout buzzer, leading 16-5 against GCIS.
Angolluan with 12 points, alongside Cedric Narcelles with a six point finish in the first quarter as they close out with 22-15.
The second quarter kicked off with a fresh lineup hitting the court, featuring players Charles Ustare, Ralph Rizano, John Genon, and David Manriza. Ustare scored back-to-back three point buckets.
Rizano contributed an eight-point performance, Genon added six impressive points, and Manriza chipped in with five, launching JCA to an 18-0 streak.
With a commanding lead, the game reached its conclusion decisively. The team in white emerged victorious with a landslide score of 108-79, securing their place as contenders in the Final 16 playoffs.
