About Us

BRIEF HISTORY

It was in the year 1997 when Bishop Jonathan and Pastor Victoria Sebastian founded the school. Beginning with only one teacher, Mrs. Cynthia Cambri – Genon and a class of twelve pupils, JCSGO Christian Academy gladly opened its gates on the 7th day of July 1997, equipped with complete pre-school education. Learning happened in one small room.

Soon after, the first level of grade school was offered. Thanks to the commitment of Mrs. Elva Macaraeg and Mrs. Jean Bustamante. The school continued to render services to its 54 students. Classes were done in a two-storey building.

Through the years, due to the increasing number of enrollees, JCA expanded its operation. The first batch of elementary graduates was also the first batch to take on high school on 2004-2005. In this school year, the Department of Education (DepEd) granted recognition upon JCA. By this time, all levels had their own buildings and sets of teachers.

The school produced its first batch of high school graduates in 2008. The High School Department received recognition from DepEd. The school’s mission and vision were revised.

In response to the K-12 program, the Senior High School pioneered its first batch in 2016.
