In preparation for the start of the upcoming academic year, JCSGO Christian Academy held its in-house training for teachers and staff last July 18–21 at the school’s Audio-Visual Room (AVR).

The training’s objective is to familiarize the teachers and staff with all relevant laws that may have an impact on the welfare of the school’s stakeholders and how to implement and handle those laws.

“It is also a refreshment and guide, especially to the new teachers, to have a better understanding of our statement of faith, rules, policies, and guidelines,” said April Dannee Niñalga, the ICT Officer of Internal and External Affairs.

The in-house training tackled a wide range of topics, including Child Protection Policy, Anti-discrimination Law, Sexual Harassment, and LGBT.
