JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) recognized senior high school students for their exemplary performance in the Communication Month culmination.

Ms. Marbie Estefania, English coordinator, declared that communication is about empathy.

“Communication is not about speaking well and writing properly. Communication is about understanding others,” Estefania shared.

The event was followed by performances from the Readers’ Theater, showcasing their talents in fusing reading and drama.

Students were awarded in Buwan ng Wika contests (Recycled Costume Contest and Kamayan) and English Month contests (Spelling Bee, Essay Writing, The Great Write Race, and Readers’ Theater).

Grade 11 spelling bee champion, Marcus Jace Lacson, believed that victory is more than receiving accolades — it’s about being grateful for God’s guidance.

“Victory for me is not only all about claiming awards such as medal, certificate, and trophy, but being thankful to God for his everlasting support to us,” Lacson shared.

The event concluded with the previewing of trailers from the Siglo Film Festival.
