Repairs and implementations across the campus continue as JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) prepares its staff and facilities for the school year 2026-2027 and its 30th anniversary.
Students should expect a lot, according to Ms. Elva Macaraeg, the Physical Resource Officer of the admin office.
“We are preparing for everything, renovating, reinventing our school building and facilities in alignment with the school’s ‘Finest @30’.”

Meanwhile, Ms. Marife Jagto, Assistant Principal of Academics and Admission, also added that there are extra preparations from all departments for the festivities.
“[It will] include several improvements to ensure that the school facilities are safe, functional, and ready for the opening of classes.”
The various changes and improvements that both mentioned were new classrooms for senior high school, a well-ventilated cookery lab with conducted carpentry works, an extended computer lab that serves both computer and robotics classes, an activity center and sports area for students located at the skyline, repainted classrooms, repaired classroom materials, and renovated facilities.
According to Ms. Jagto, they also have staff preparations through seminars and training sessions.
“These seminars help enhance their teaching strategies and keep them updated with the current curriculum and educational practices in the Philippines,” Ms. Jagto expressed, highlighting the importance of innovation in the field of education.

Furthermore, Ms. Linnie Bergante, the Senior High School (SHS) Academic Head, stated that the renovation in SHS focuses on specialized learning spaces to accommodate varying educational needs.
They made upgrades, such as faster Wi-Fi and new equipment in science and computer labs. She also stated that these will be done during school breaks to avoid disrupting classes.
According to her, this overall renovation within SHS will include a college-ready curriculum overhaul and faculty training seminars.
When asked what to expect for the 30th anniversary of JCA, she added that it will be a year-long celebration.
“A year-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of the founding might include alumni homecomings, cultural displays, and significant institutional events.”

She also added that a high-level intramural sports tournament with particular team divisions and entertaining ceremonies should be expected, including charity drives and outreach projects to allow JCAians to give back while honoring 30 years of history.
Ms. Kristel Aguilar of the foundation week committee also said to expect multiple events for the 30th anniversary of the school, including a bazaar, a motorcade, and many more events currently under planning.
