Grade 6 students of JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) successfully celebrated their Graduation at the Seed Dome on April 8, 2026.

The ceremony began like any other, yet for the Grade 6 graduates, it marked the end of a chapter that they could never return to.

It started off with the Entrance of Colors, followed by the singing of the national anthem and the praise and worship segment, setting a celebratory tone and anticipation. The celebration proceeded with an Inspirational Speech by Angela Luisa H. Montenegro, an alumna and a loyaltee awardee of JCA.

She highlighted the theme of values formation, with her speech greatly promoting the idea that “competence is what you can do, while integrity is how you do it,” highlighting the importance of character alongside academic achievement.

According to her, the current generation requires something more from their education; something beyond books, since “our world doesn’t only need book-smart people but those who have character.”

In support of the speaker’s message, a graduate herself, Ysabelle Sophia Sadiasa,  shared that “doing your best means being honest in your work, managing time responsibly, and staying true to your values,” showing how competence is guided by integrity in daily academic life.

Another graduate, Lhyianie Roe Ferrer, said “responsibility helps build self-discipline,” adding that it is a core value to maintain as they move on to high school.

School officials then led the program and the declaration of graduates, formally recognizing and declaring that the learners have completed all requirements for elementary education under the K to 12 program.

A commencement address delivered by Sadiasa highlighted learners’ experiences and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of education.p

The ceremony ended with closing remarks and a closing prayer to be led by Nickeisha Lucyelle Pateño and Enoch Corpuz, marking the end of their Elementary year and starting a new academic journey.
