New Year begins with rest, recognition, remarkable advocacy wins

Cheers, applause, and resolutions filled the first chapel service for 2026 as students opened the year with rest, recognition, and renewed purpose in a lively celebration.
The gathering also featured the English Radio Broadcasting team performing on stage, recapping the Christmas parties and promoting Bible-related contests, such as the Battle of the Verses.

Wrapping up the service, the school announced January’s advocacy as REST—referring to the R in NEWSTART—encouraging students to bring pillows and stuffed toys for 10-minute naps after lunch and promoted Values Month.
