The Technology Livelihood Education (TLE) department held the NutriZumba competition in line with nutrition month, highlighting the creativity and energy of Grade 7 and 8 students on July 31 at the Skyline.

The event showcased the original yells from each nutrition section. They also danced to the tune of “Wellness Dance 2014” by Nestle PH, with each step having flair and passion.

Students also expressed their imagination through colorful clothes and costumes, each reflecting the unity of its respective section.

The panel of judges, Mr. Sundae Burce, Ms. Dhanna Abubo, and Ms. Sarah Sumalabe, were responsible for grading the performances.

“For the choreography, I just listened to it and started making steps, focusing on how the music felt and made sure the moves had energy and were fun to do,” stated Miriam Capuno, one of the choreographers of 8 – Wonderful.

She considered making steps that are simple and easy to remember for everyone, and synchronization of her section during their practices.
