As part of the celebration of Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Month, the Junior High School (JHS) department gathered for an exciting and educational Livelihood Demonstration Show, anchored on this year’s theme, “Food at Nutrition Security Maging Priority! Sapat na Pagkain, Karapatan Natin!”, on July 16 at the Audio-Visual Room.

The event featured four student groups from Grades 7 and 10, who presented their own creative and nutritious food demonstrations.

Judges Ms. Jaye Ann Damasco, Ms. Dhanna Abubo, and Ms. Ysabel Jastiva shared insightful questions, suggestions, comments, and evaluated the presentations and dishes.

From Grade 7, Group 1 showcased their dish, Veggie Nuggets; from Grade 10, Group 2 served a classic Fruit Salad, Group 3 prepared Mango Tapioca, while Group 4 presented a refreshing summer treat—Milky Avocado with Ice.

Each group explained their ingredients, preparation methods, and the nutritional value of their dish, followed by a taste test that allowed the judges to sample the food and give their feedback.

“The part of the demo show that made me feel proud, is when we were able to answer confidently. We also think that we impressed the judges by answering and demonstrating our Mango Tapioca properly.” shared Wendell Dakis, a contestant from Group 3.

The winners of the TLE Livelihood Demo Show will be officially announced on August 6.
