JCA hosts memorable ECE Retreat for Bible Month Celebration

In celebration of Bible Month, JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) held its Early Childhood Education (ECE) retreat, bringing pupils and teachers together for a day of fellowship, fun, and spiritual growth, on January 17, at the Audio-Visual-Room (AVR).
The retreat kicked off with a lively praise and worship session, setting the tone for a day filled with meaningful activities, followed by the “Bible Story Contest,” where nine pupils dressed up and acted out their favorite Bible stories and characters.
After the contest, participants were divided into four color-coded teams: blue, yellow, red, and orange, each guided by a teacher and two student leaders, who facilitated activities, adding a twist to the retreat.
Teams then prepared for a group presentation, where they displayed their creativity, unity, and teamwork. The day also featured a reflective session led by Ms. Liza Reyes, who shared an inspiring message on how God can transform lives.
“It’s an unforgettable opportunity to collaborate with the ECE teachers, students, and student leaders who came to support and assist us during the retreat. The retreat is not just about physical and emotional experiences but, most importantly, about the spiritual journey. It’s a way to celebrate Bible Month and give thanks to God,” shared Ms. Venisse Jastiva.
The retreat serves as a testament to JCA’s commitment to nurturing not only the minds but also the hearts and souls of its students, which aligns with its mission to glorify God in all aspects of education.
