Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Grade School (GS) pupils’ festive cheer filled the air, as kinder students, along with their parents, came together for their Christmas Thanksgiving Program at the Central Hall and Seed Dome on December 20.
The ECE Department, spearheaded by Teacher Liza Reyes, kicked off with her warm opening remarks followed by the singing of Hark the Herald Angels Sing by students and parents, setting the tone for the heartwarming celebration.
Kinder AM captivated the audience with their synchronized performance of “When I Think About Christmas” in cute white outfits and gloves with Kinder PM following with a rendition of “Too Wonderful.”
The celebration concluded with all the kindergarten students joining together for a joyful “Happy Birthday Jesus,” complete with gifts, balloons, and a heartfelt tribute to Christ’s birth.
The ECE event ended with impressive parent presentations. Kinder AM parents sang as a choir, while their children, dressed as Bible characters, sang “Gloria” with angelic voices, and some students performed solo.
Meanwhile, the GS thanksgiving celebration was hosted by Ms. Kristine Cruzado and Ms. Rinoa Mae Udaundo, with a theme of “Heavenly Glow; Red and White Show!”
The GS students presented their carol presentations where each section chose one to two songs such as “Mary’s Boy Child,” “Gloria,” and “It’s Christmas” to showcase their talents.
Followed shortly by an in-classroom event organized by the Supreme Pupil Government titled “Classroom Decoration for Christmas,” where students were able to display their creativity.
“It was great because I got to experience my last christmas party as a grade school student in JCA, as well as experiencing it with my friends, teachers, and 2024 since we are close to 2025. Furthermore my friend’s and I got to experience the games, positivity, and fun!” said Stacey C. Corpuz from 6-Purity.
Both departments enjoyed themselves, spread holiday cheer during the events, and celebrated their thanksgiving party together.
