Sudoku Contest enhanced the critical thinking and logical reasoning skills of Junior High School (JHS) JCAians during Science-Mathematics Month on November 21 at the JHS Library.

The contest embraced the thrill of problem-solving by decoding a sudoku puzzle within 10 to 15 minutes. Winners will be selected based on the accuracy of their solutions, with completion speed as a deciding factor in close cases.

Mr. Sundae Burce, Mathematics Activities Organizer shared that the competition was conducted to develop critical thinking among students and help pupils learn how to break down complex problems into manageable chunks and make the problem easier and faster to solve.

The event winners will be announced on December 4 at the Seed Dome.
