
GS, JHS Science Quiz Bee: Future scientists rise to the challenge

The JCA Grade School (GS) and Junior High School (JHS) Department held their Science Quiz Bee Contest, as part of its month-long celebration of Science-Mathematics Month, on Wednesday, October 30 at the GS Library.
Joined by 27 participants from the GS Department and 32 contestants from the JHS Department, each young and aspiring scientist competed and showcased their knowledge and expertise in Science in three rounds: easy, average, and difficult.
According to Ms. Bernacel Capuli Moster, Science Activities Organizer and Facilitator, the competition aims to promote students’ interest in science and enhance their critical thinking, teamwork, and scientific concepts competitively.
Weiland Cisco F. Mabaggu, Grade 3 Science Quiz Bee Champion, shared his experience in the contest, “I found out that when I moved here to JCA, it was kind of good for me because there’s a Science subject and I got very interested in learning it. So I tried my best in this Science Quiz Bee contest, I thank God that he gave me wisdom and knowledge.”

• Grade 5: Kenzo M. Chan
• Grade 6: Amery Comanda
• Grade 7: David Jomadal
• Grade 8: Phil K. Ligaray
• Grade 9: Nathania Avila
• Grade 10: Ethan Carmelo Ferrer
