JCSGO Christian Academy’s Junior High School (JHS) Department hosted a United Nations (UN) Flag Quiz Bee, demonstrating students’ knowledge on the history of flags and its meaning at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) on October 15.

Questions in the competition progressively increased in difficulty, starting from easy, before reaching a challenging level.

The competition aimed to make the JHS students demonstrate their knowledge about details in flags that not only made them have an understanding of the country, but know the freedom and history the flags hold.

Champions were; Antonio Raphael Arcega in Grade 7, Ioanes Ligaray in Grade 8, Marcus Jace Lacson in Grade 9, and Ethan Ferrer in Grade 10.

“When I saw the other finalists, I was a bit nervous because I can see they are very smart, but still I believed in myself and most importantly, I believed in God because He guides us and I also prepared for the competition” said Ligaray.
