JHS kicks off AP month with Poster Slogan Making Contest

Junior High School (JHS) Department commenced the celebration of Araling Panlipunan month with the artistic talents of students in the Poster Slogan Making Contest on Thursday, October 3 in the Audio-Visual Room.

Each participant was given an allotted time of two hours to make their best creative poster slogan with the theme “Advancing Global Cooperation for Peace and Sustainability” in celebration of the United Nations.

The contest comprised 14 participants from Grades 7-8, and 21 from Grades 9-10, facilitated by Mrs. Marife Jagto, JHS Academic Head.

Mrs. Jagto explained that the contest was chosen because it allows students to demonstrate their artistic abilities through poster creation using illustration boards and different coloring materials to convey the theme’s messages by depicting a slogan.

All entries of the participants will be evaluated by the Arts teachers of Grade School and the JHS Department.
