SC steps in as ‘Teachers’ in celebration of Teachers, Day

JCSGO Christian Academy’s (JCA) Student Council (SC) gave appreciation to the teachers from the Senior High School faculty through their project ‘Student Teacher for a Day’ on Thursday, October 3.

SC took over the teaching responsibilities, allowing educators to take a well-deserved day off. Each officer was tasked with overseeing every subject in the Senior High School department, which included a range of teacher duties like leading discussions, checking notes, and other responsibilities.

“It’s a form of our assistance to teachers, especially since marami silang gagawin that day and hindi naman nila kayang magpunta sa iba’t-ibang lugar at the same time, so we took the opportunity to help them out.” said Markin Asuncion, SC Vice President.

This project of the SC aimed to lighten the workload for JCA SHS teaching staff, while strengthening the bond between students and educators for this year’s teachers’ day celebration.
