Rising Playwrights in JCA SHS, take center stage in One-act Musical Play

JCSGO Christian Academy (JCA) Senior High School’s (SHS) ‘Stage Play’ class contest in celebration of Communication Month took center stage in the Central Hall last Friday, September 27, captivating audiences with a blend of drama and humor.

With a central title of “METAMORPHOSIS,” the performance, led by each directors per sections, showcased the school’s creative talents, featuring students in various roles that highlighted their acting prowess and scriptwriting skills.

The stage plays comprised of ‘The Spotlight’ from 12-Jireh, ‘Remember When’ for 12-Elohim, ‘Alpas’ for 11-Shalom, ‘Block’ for 11-Shiloh, and ‘Paraiso’ for 11-Elyon, each storyline revolving around themes of communication, resonated deeply with the audience.

The competition was evaluated through the script and performance by alumni: Jazzel B. Ortiz, Jay-el Jonathan De Dios, and Aaliyah Vien B. Mangindra.
